Summary:
Pace is seeking an Associate Director of Bids to develop and implement bidding strategies across various sectors. This role will involve close collaboration with the executive team and design leadership to create winning tenders that align with Pace’s business objectives. The position is based in Kuwait, requiring frequent travel to KSA, Bahrain, and other regional destinations.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze Pace’s vision and strategies to formulate effective bidding approaches.
- Foster relationships with internal teams and stakeholders for comprehensive proposal development.
- Design bidding strategies utilizing cost and performance data.
- Enhance proposal materials and bid submission processes informed by business intelligence.
- Develop pricing strategies to optimize bid margins based on historical data.
- Establish a best practice bid management process that is efficient and value-adding.
- Implement a CRM process for client and bidding opportunities, integrated with ERP systems.
- Facilitate regular meetings to improve bid processes and lead full bid lifecycle activities.
- Manage opportunities from pre-qualification to contract award, preparing business cases as needed.
- Oversee bid implementation, including reporting and financial transactions.
- Act as the primary contact for bid proposals for the CEO and Pace Directors.
- Ensure compliance with bid submission procedures in Kuwait, KSA, and Bahrain.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years in a professional architecture/engineering environment.
- At least 10 years of experience in tender and bidding processes is preferred.
- Proven expertise in leading commercial management teams.
- Multi-country experience, particularly in the Middle East.
- Strong track record of managing senior stakeholders and diverse client relationships.

- Certifications & Memberships:
- Additional training and professional development courses are advantageous.
